The total cost for the 600 new special guards, for the four-year period 2025 to 2029, amounts to 64,436,000 euros.

Private security guards will have police powers

The Council of State upheld a 200,000 euro fine by the Hellenic Police to a representative of a security company for having an arsenal in his home

The above happened as an entire arsenal was found in his home.

The representative of the Security company appealed to the Administrative Court.
